Factory Road

Around 5 years ago, having a rather strong relationship with 45 rpm adapters, we decided we wanted to manufacture some, as nowhere in the world makes them anymore. After much research, many conversations with plastics people and ideas thrown around, we eventually found someone in our hometown to make them for us.

We got the technical drawings made for the ‘tool’, then had the tool made that’s gonna manufacture the ‘dinks’, but just before going into production the company that had made it folded, taking all of our money and our shiny new tool with it! After a lot of litigation with receivers, and other Serious People with no sense of humour - some claiming that they owned OUR tool - we managed to buy it back (despite having already paid for it!)

Now, finally, we’re on the path to getting our own produced. We’ve found a new plastics firm in the West Midlands, and just need to hone the product. When it’s ready, we’ll let you all know. Watch this space!
